Crimosoft dirty tricks get OOXML standardised

Hello. You're visitor number... you don't want to know. I can tell. I suppose that I should welcome you to these pages, but since I'm not actually here, this text will have to do. Anyway. In this collection of pages, you'll find such diverse things as RISC OS apps, RISC OS utilities, RISC OS games, some Linux stuff and the occasional diversion into Java. I hope that you enjoy your stay here, and that you stop to visit the main index page.

I currently use two PCs, one running Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 ("etch") and the other running "lenny", one laptop, also running "lenny", and a Risc PC (ARM710, RISC OS 4.02). I have a few Debian-format packages for use on etch, lenny and sid, both i386 and amd64.

[Burn All Gifs]

For some time now, I haven't used the GIF file format (except for the occasional one which is fetched from another site) because of Unisys's attempt at enforcement of their LZW patent. Still, the patent doesn't have long to run... Internet Exploiter and Navigator 4 can't properly display PNGs, as shown in this test page, but they're a superior format so I'll continue to use them anyway. If you find a GIF whose URL is local to my website and which is not used by a Java applet, feel free to shout :-)

These pages were created with various programs including Zap, Draw, Paint, Vantage, Compo, Photodesk, ChangeFSI, InterGif (but no longer to produce GIFs), Spr2Png. The "burn all GIFs" image is borrowed, but its mask is Compo-generated. Uploading is done using wwwsync.

Tested using Browse, FirefoxIceweasel, Navigator, Lynx and the demo version of Oregano (and occasionally ArcWeb and the highly crashable local-only version of Fresco) in at least 256 colours.
